¡Blanco Muchacho!

It was a tough weekend. I had 40 oz Friday and a bachelor party. I drank one and a half 40's and had 3/4 of a little caesars pizza and some bread sticks. At the bachelor party I had a ton of chips, guacamole, hot dogs, and hamburgers. Not to mention drinking from 12 - 9pm.

The bachelor party was a pretty good time, but I was super tired. We went to this bar afterwards, Casey Morans, and my brother Jays friend was there and was drunk off his ass. He shoved my brother, and Jay split his beer all over this older woman. He son and father were pissed. I dont know exactly what was said between them, but there was a lot of pushing and yelling, no fistacuffs. The funny thing was that the family was going ape shit, and we were pretty cool about, and they through out the whole family. Then we were able to watch for 10 minutes the security and the family get into it.

So I get home, and at 4:30 am the mexicans next store start blasting their ranchero music. the downstairs neighbor went by and asked them to turn it down, which they did, and then would start up again. (This guy has an avalanche truck, and he opened the doors and cranked it as loud as it would go. He did it a third time, and I went out the back door and I was able to yell loud enough to get his attention, and I told him to "Turn down the volume" about three times. I then screamed "Turn off the fucking music" His wife ran out and turned it off. He called me by yelling at me "hey whiteboy" followed by "you rent here, i live here" I really wanted to debate him on my rights as a rentor vs his rights as a owner, which are the same, but decided I would go back to bed.

My progress has been slow, i was 191 this morning. I have started a brazilian jiu jitsu class, and its a tough work out. I am joining it, and hope to lose some serious weight. I think I can get to 170 by the end of the summer. I think Dan has lost 8 pounds or so. I have some catching up to do.

Me and Dan decided the last day of summer, around the middle of September, will be the last day, and we will cap it off with a hot dog eating contest. I think Ryan might be the only one interested at this point, but I would really like Brian in the competition. He bested me at the Christmas dinner, but I was not my game.

Whoopsie poopsie

I have put my blog on the back burner for about a week. So last night Bethany stopped by and me made this pasta dish. Mistakenly that day, I decided I would only eat dinner. Actually I forgot my bean burritos, so as a punishment no lunch (it helps me remember). So I get home and know I have to eat something. I have a 4 slices of bread (2 with cheese). Then we made about 4-5 pounds of pasta. I had two huge plates. I weighed myself before 189.8(underwear only) and after 194.5 (with clothes). I dropped Bethany off at the CTA and thats when my intestines were telling me i need to crap. Well, i made it hope and went right to the shitcan, and crapped out a good portion of what i ate. I really made some progress this week but kinda blew it yesterday.

I went on a bike ride in Garfield Park earlier this in the week. Its a little ghetto in there. I was the only white person, and I was riding my BMX bike on dirt paths, kinda like a race or jumps and stuff. I went by this bandstand, a saw a used syringe on the ground, and it disturbed me. I then left.

Also on monday I am taking a Brazilian Jui Jitsu into class. I hope I like it, and that its reasonable affordable, maybe 100/month.

Oh, this morning i weighed in at 191.5. My goal before 40 oz Friday starts in 188.

Weight Update

I weighed in this morning at 191, but it was not the scale I have always used but it seems to be on the mark. I have lost 3.2 pounds or 1.65% (3.2/194.2) so far. I have forgotten my burritos for lunch. Bummer.

The Jew Canoe

My weight before I left was 195.5 for a bachelor party weekend. I had actually gained a pound. I restrained myself from excessive eating and drinking for the most part. The way back was actually the worst. I had 2 double cheeseburgers and maybe 32 0z of mello yellow. Then I had 2 hot dogs and a 64 oz mountain dew. Overall though, I weighted in at 193.5 this morning. I am back in the negative territory which is positive. I contribute the weight loss to excessive volleyball activity, whitewater rafting, and excessive laughing on Jared's Herbert the Pervert impressions. "Would you like thrills with that paperboy"

Today I was able to get right back on the burrito diet. I also had a really sweaty ride to work.

Day Old Beans

Today is the first day of all day bean burritos. The hard part was thinking of how to eat them without making them each time and to bring them to work. Thankfully Bethany had the great idea of making batches and freezing them. Worked out pretty damn good. One guys asked what I was cooking in the microwave, saying it smelled really good. I asked Hank what he had. He was very disappointed that he had oberweis yogurt. He said his yogurt is much better than his politics. I didnt know what to say, so I said Ozinga is running to. He seemed impressed. Good ole Hank!

I also now am trying to make a workout of riding my bike to work. Usually its filled with accelerating and coasting. The last couple of days I have been trying to get up to a pretty good speed and maintain, but not at balls out speed. I will try to keep up with the cyclists, those are the guys who wear spandex and helmets. I raced this guy from elston and diversey to elston and milwaukee. He had a higher top speed but i would catch him and pass him for a while at stop lights. He beat me but it was pretty damn close. I then raced this guy on Milwaukee to lake. He also beat me. I almost got doored today too. I said "Come on lady" and then a half second later i said "you fucking idiot."

I forgot to weigh myself today, I feel trimmer, even after just eating 3 burritos. I think my weight will be 192. Dan is touting 220 by Friday.

The burrito lunch also give me time to write this blog.

Weekend Update

It was not a great weekend for The Burrito Kid and his war with weight. I actually weighted 196.4 this morning. This is a result of eating 3 different burritos from resturants that were probably about 1000 calories a piece, grilling out (3 italian saugages), 2 McGriddles, a four egg omelet, and maybe 12 beers over the weekend.

I need to start a rigorous running routine and eat only my bean burritos. I still have been eating out for lunch too. I also broke down and had a pepsi today. My goal for the Friday is to weight 192.
